Good work Michael, thats real helpful for Mosquito owners.

Over our side of the world insurance is becoming a big issue. Insurance companies are starting to refuse any policy, either full or just liability on anything thats not certified. That means even bigger machines like safaris have no insurance from this year. It limits access to airfields, flyin events and flying over government land. And the commercial sector is getting hammered too, insurance premiums have nearly doubled in the last 12 months, flying schools are closing, operators are closing down. Something like a 2 seat cabri is over 40k a year to insure now.

I called a few companies and when I told them what I was flying they treated me like Typhoid Mary or quoted me a price that no way in hell I could afford!
