The Dream
Dwight wanted to fly a helicopter ever since boyhood when his brother bought him a ride at the State Fair in Ohio. Many years later as an expert in composites manufacturing, Dwight set out in 2000 to build the personal helicopter later to become the Mosquito XE. In a collaboration with John Uptigrove of Innovator Technologies, Dwight built the XE using a modified drive line based on that of the Air. With the first XE sold in 2004, Composite-FX has produced 400+ copies while constantly improving the product.

The Composite-FX team is comprised of seasoned talent that strives to produce the finest of aircraft, every day. Lamination Production SupervisorRay is the leader in the lamination department, guided by his 30+ year lamination experience in boats, cars and aircraft.

Tooling and Top Coat Finish SupervisorRonnie has 42 total years in composite production as well as mold design & tooling maintenance and top coat finishes in body and paint. Ronnie spent his first 27 years in the marine industry working his way to composite construction supervisor as well as spending 6 years as the owner of his own composite business. In the past 15 years he has been in aerospace industry at Composite-FX in his current key management position.

Adam Junkin
Final Assembly SupervisorAdam is the son of Dwight Junkin and has worked in manufacturing and production for 20 years. He has worked in composite construction for 4 years, with 2 years in the marine industry and 2 years in aerospace composites. During his last 16 years he has honed his assembly, electrical, mechanical and flight control systems skills, and manages final assembly and builder assists.

Co-Founder and Product DevelopmentDwight is a co-founder of the XE Series helicopter line of products. Mr. Junkin has 40 years in manufacturing and production of composite based products. Dwight spent the first 25 years in the marine industry in the functions of engineering, designing and production. During the past 15 years he has used these same skills in the aerospace industry as the founder of Composite-FX.

Operations ManagerWith 30 years in manufacturing, Norbert specializes in product development, engineering and operations man-agement. Mr. Richter has taken automotive, aerospace systems, consumer products and scientific equipment from con-ceptualization through acquisition. Norbert has a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MS in Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA, and joined Composite FX in 2014.

SupportSince 2006 with Composite-FX Providing Helicopter Maintenance and Technical Support Performs maintenance and inspections and conducts test flight to include Pre buy inspections and on site quality assurance evaluations to determine airworthiness. Provides Troubleshooting, and call in technical support, rotor tracking and balance, and maintains website.

He has 19 years of experience, with 4 years in the marine industry doing composite production. The past 15 years he has been in the aerospace industry at Composite-FX honing his skills and has become our leader in the lamination department.
